your first visit to the clinic

consultation

Your first visit to the practice consists of an initial consultation and thorough physical examination.  During this process the Chiropractor will discuss your problem and take a full medical history.  Then they will carry out a detailed examination of your spine and nervous system using a series of Chiropractic, orthopaedic and neurological tests.  X-rays may be recommended in certain cases.

Your Chiropractor will then spend time analysing this information and, if they feel they can help will determine a treatment plan for your individual case.  This process allows the Chiropractor to address the cause of your symptoms and provide you with a plan to help you achieve your health goals.

Your first visit to the practice

report of findings

At your second visit the cause of your problems will be explained in detail.  The Chiropractor will discuss with you how Chiropractic treatment may help.

We will take you fully through our findings so that by the end of the report you will understand the nature and cause of your problem.   A schedule of care will be designed to meet your needs and it will then be up to you to decide whether you wish to proceed with Chiropractic care.

At this stage treatment can commence.  Rest assured that if we feel Chiropractic treatment cannot help with your symptoms or is not appropriate for you, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist.
